Period Problems

teafriendsglitterandboys:

Me: I want cuddles

Me: but I don’t want you to touch me

Me: because everything hurts and I’m nauseous

Me: but I also want a grilled cheese

Me: and maybe some brownies

Me: no wonder I’m so bloated and fat

Me: *cries*

Me: WHY WON’T YOU TELL ME I’M PRETTY

Me: YOU’RE A DOUCHE

Me: leave me alone.

Me: no, come back, I want to cuddle you

One of the beautiful things about science is that it allows us to bumble along, getting it wrong time after time, and feel perfectly fine as long as we learn something each time. Martin A. Schwartz. (via proofsareart)

The Golden Rain reaction

Solutions of lead (II) nitrate and potassium iodide are combined and then allowed to settle out. The supernatant liquid is then decanted and the precipitate dissolved in hot water. The solution cooled until it hits 40degrees C…. then, the Golden Rain reaction begins- beautiful swathes of little gold crystals swirl in the water like glitter.
